WMF images and PDF output

WMF images and PDF output

Hello.

We use wmf images in our DITA documentation. When I print a document to PDF, some of the figure caption get displaced, i.e. they can appear right in the image or far below it, sometimes this also happen to the section that follows the figure. How can I fix this?

Hello,

Please note that the WMF support from Oxygen is limited and should be considered experimental (it's not documented and not officially supported).

On another note I'm not sure if the DITA-OT PDF transformation even supports the WMF image format.
I've only found one somewhat unrelated reference to WMF on the DITA users discussion group:

An alternative solution would be to convert the WMF images to SVG:
