Diff tool not accessible?

Hello,

I am using Web Author 26.1 version.

I would like to test the file comparison tool in my integration.

I do not see the menu described here https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -tool.html when I open a DITA topic file through webdav.

Is there any restriction or maybe an option to activate that I've missed to have this menu?

The File Comparison tool is available as a plugin within the standard Oxygen Web Author product. However, for custom integrations using the Web Author component, additional licensing considerations and commercial arrangements apply to integrators wishing to offer this functionality within their own products.

Can the file comparison feature be used to compare DITA maps or DITA bookmaps? Is there a dedicated tree view?

If so, do you have a demo or screenshots to show the strengths of the feature?

On your demo page, only flowers.ditamap is available, with no other ditamap for comparison.

Yes, in Oxygen XML Web Author, the file comparison feature can be used to compare DITA maps or DITA bookmaps. In the Merge dialog, DITA maps are automatically expanded to make it much easier to view the differences between their structures.

On your demo page, only flowers.ditamap is available, with no other ditamap for comparison.

In the sample named DITA Profiling, you can find mobilePhone.ditamap and, for example, compare it with flowers.ditamap.
