Fluenta - SharePoint
Post here questions and problems related to editing and publishing DITA content.
Fluenta - SharePoint
Hi,
Is it not possible to use Fluenta with maps stored in SharePoint?
We are using Sharepoint as our repository, but when I open a map from the SharePoint Browser in the DITA Maps Manager, the Fluenta contextual menu does not materialize.
I tried downloading the same map, and the contextual menu showed up just fine, however this creates an immense manual workload.
Kind regards,
Birgitte

Re: Fluenta - SharePoint
Hi Birgitte,
I'm afraid the Fluenta add-on for now supports only working with local files. If we manage to improve it in a future version we'll update this forum thread. Maybe as a workaround you could try to attempt to map the Sharepoint repository as a local Windows disk drive?
Regards,
Radu

Re: Fluenta - SharePoint
Hi Radu,
Thank you for your reply.
We could map the Sharepoint repository as a local disk drive, but this defeats the whole purpose of using Sharepoint (global teams).
I have found that I can use Fluenta's own tool instead.
Best,
Birgitte

Re: Fluenta - SharePoint
Hi Radu,
Oh, you are right. I guess I did not consider that to be local.
It would be great to have the feature work with the SharePoint Browser, so please do update us if you decide to implement that at some point.
Best,
Birgitte
