Project templates

How are project templates (.zxpr) created? (The project in question does not use DITA by the way).
Do you create a new project and then save it some way that it creates an .zxpr file from the .xpr?

project templates are actually ZIP archives (with a .zxpr extension)

So you simply zip an entire folder which contains the .xpr file and the other project folders and files. And then you change the file name of the "archive.zip" to "archive.zxpr".
