How to see the unicode of a character in Oxygen editor

Post by lisazeng99 »

Hi Oxygent expert,

One yahoo dita group member suggeted me to check the unicode of a character by
"Oxygen Editor shows the Unicode code point number on the status line (bottom of the window) for the character that is immediately after the cursor."

However, after I put cursor after a character, nothing shows either after the cursor or any information in the result windows.

Would you please share me how to check a character's unicode? I don't know how to make the status line shown in the bottom of the window.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa,

The status bar is always visible at the bottom of Oxygen and it shows the hexadecimal value of the character which is at the caret position.
Like this:
