Oxygen Connect HTTPS Alfresco

Hi,

I have modified "preferences" Data Sources for indicate access Alfresco with HTTPS
I have modified "preferences" Data Sources for indicate access Alfresco with HTTP

With HTTP the result is correct but with https i obtains error :

Code: Select all

"Il ya eu un prblème d'établissement de la connexion HTTPS sécurisée. ... lire la section 'Dépannage HTTPS' du manuel de l'utilisateur. Le message d'erreur complet : peer not authenticated."

My question : where is manuel de l'utilisateur ?

Hi,

Please check if you are using the correct server port for HTTPS. The "peer not authenticated" error message usually appears if you're using the wrong port.

The error message refers to this section from the User's Manual:
Oxygen XML Editor User Manual - Troubleshooting HTTPS
Note that the manual is only available in English.

An alternate solution if it's indeed a certificate issue is to configure Oxygen to accept invalid certificates in Options > Preferences, Network Connection Settings > HTTP(S)/WebDAV, "Automatically accept a security certificate, even if invalid"

I acceed Alfresco but any doc is looked ?
When i selected a file windows indicate "Problem while trying to acquire lock"
423 Locked for https://..........................
If i choice "Continuer"
If i modified file and i save file Window error "Impossible d'enregister le fichier" 423 Locked for : https://xxxxxx

Hi,

1. Do you get this error on any resource, or just one in specific?
Note that Alfresco 4.2 (and possibly earlier) had an issue with re-locking:
https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MNT-10908
Check what version of Alfresco do you have.

2. Do you see a small padlock on the icon of the file from the Data Source Explorer view?
If you do, that padlock means that the resource you're trying to open is already locked, possibly by someone else.
So, in this case it's normal to get this error when trying to save since the resource is locked by someone else.

Hi,

Since I handpicked the option you have told me, even in http (which worked before) I padlocks on all items.
I am in Alfresco 4.2
I suppress option I do have a lock on all items

Hi,

If the locking mechanism misbehaves in combination with Alfresco, you can disable it in Oxygen:
Options > Preferences, Network Connection Settings > HTTP(S)/WebDAV, "Lock WebDAV files on open"
