Change case of phrase
Is there a way to toggle the case of a selected phrase? i.e. I am cleaning up metadata in my XML for books and often have titles arrive in all-caps. I would love to be able to toggle between all-caps - lower-case - and title-case. There is a built in feature in Word that does this, and it would be very nice to have to speed up my cleanup.
e.g.
THE CAT IN THE HAT
toggles to:
the cat in the hat
and then to:
The Cat In The Hat
and then back to all-caps.
(In Word, you highlight the phrase and think click "Shift-F3" to toggle.)
It's a great feature! Thanks!

Re: Change case of phrase
Dear Rebecca,
Thank you for the improvement request. We logged it on to our internal issues list and it will be discussed.
In what page are you usually editing: Text or Author?
Of course, if you know Java Oxygen offers the possibility to implement a custom plugin to achieve this. So if you are interested in this, let us know and we'll send you more details.
Regards,
Radu

Re: Change case of phrase
I am always editing in text, but I can imagine it would be useful in both.
Regarding the custom plugin, let me know how I'd implement that. I did try to search to see if anyone else had implemented this, but didn't see it. It does seem pretty simple!

Hi Rebecca,
The plugin development kit can be found here:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/developer.html#Plugins
together with a couple of sample plugins (which also have the code source). For example you can modify the Capitalize lines plugin to do what you want, rebuild the jar library and drop the plugin in the OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\plugins directory.

Radu
