Debugging & Profiling with Saxon 9.8

Hi,

I am able run XSLT 3.0 with Oxygen by setting the Validation Engine to Saxon-EE 9.8.0.5 (External). I would like to do profiling between XSLT 2.0 & XLST 3.0 which is not possible at the moment.

Can somebody give me an estimate when it is possible to use Saxon-EE 9.8.0.5 (and XSLT 3.0) with the profiler and the debugger?

Hi,

The debugging and profiling will only start working when Oxygen will update its bundled Saxon engine to Saxon 9.8.
Internally we started work on this about a week ago, our initial estimate is to be able to ship Oxygen 20 (March this year) with Saxon 9.8, I am not 100% confident that we will though. We keep finding various problems and it's a matter of preferring to have a very stable version of Saxon integrated with Oxygen.
If we do, I will try to update this forum thread. If we do not, most probably Oxygen 20.1 (Autumn this year) will ship with Saxon 9.8.

We just released <oXygen/> XML editor version 20.
