Installing multiple versions
Having trouble installing Oxygen? Got a bug to report? Post it all here.
Installing multiple versions
Is it possible to install and run multiple versions of Oxygen XML Author on the same computer without causing any conflicts or overwriting of files (assuming we have a license that covers both versions)? I found a post from about 10 years ago that indicated this was possible but wasn't sure if the situation had changed.
Re: Installing multiple versions
Hi,
Yes, it's still possible. Each version has a separate options file, so there are no conflicts.
When running multiple versions at the same time, just make sure you're not editing the same files, especially the project file (Window > Show view >Project). If you need to work on the same project, duplicate the project (.xpr) file before opening it in the other version of Oxygen.
Regards,
Adrian
