IPv6 Support
Oxygen XML Web Author supports IPv6 connectivity.
The following connector plugins were tested with IPv6-only connectivity on Ubuntu version
24.04:
- WebDav
- GitLab
- SharePoint
- You must use a hostname instead of the IPv6 address to ensure full functionality of Oxygen XML Web Author. For example, concurrent editing does not work if you use an IPv6 address instead of a hostname.
- For WebDav, you must use a domain name instead of an IP address when configuring the server.
- If the server that is running Oxygen XML Web Author is configured to only use IPv6 addresses, a Trial license cannot be obtained through the application's interface because the www.oxygenxml.com server that provides the license does not support IPv6. It is best to configure the server to use both IPv4 and IPv6.
Note:
If you encounter any difficulties with IPv6 connectivity, you
can set the following system property:
java.net.preferIPv6Addresses=true
